Chris Cornell Memorial Statue Unveiled in Seattle

His impact on music will be felt for years to come and now Chris Cornell’s likeness will live forever in the form of a statue erected in Seattle.
The new life-sized bronze statue of the Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog frontman will be on display at the city’s Museum of Pop Culture.
The statue was created by artist Nick Marra. The memorialized version of Cornell shows the singer holding an electric guitar while waving.
At the ceremony unveiling the statue, Cornell’s wife Vicky said: “This statue is a commemoration, a focal point to keep Chris’s memory alive.”
