Former Red Hot Chili Peppers Guitarist Raises $200K

Thanks to a drive by Dave Navarro and his friends, the former Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane’s Addiction guitarist raised a ton of money for charity.
Posting a photo of the oversized check to Instagram last week, Navarro writes, “HUGE, ENORMOUS thanks to everyone at @inkedmag and all the beautiful and amazing participants who joined our competition. Your involvement helped us raise close to $200,000 for @musicares to support those in need of treatment.”
According to the tattoo enthusiast, the January 26th event helped to save lives.
Navarro has been pretty open about his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. He hosted a benefit show last year to raise money for MusiCares to help combat the issues.
What more can people do to help those struggling with these issues?
